First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank Onlyou and their teachers for the past 3 years of guidance. We are very much grateful for the systematic curriculum and caring teachers. Kirstyn and Gwyneth scored full marks for their Topik and we must thank Onlyou for this achievement.
We started attending lessons with Onlyou since Aug 2019, over the past 3 years, we benefitted much from the systematic approaches and well planned curriculum. Most importantly the notes have been very comprehensive and structured. If we base our studies solely on the textbook, it is definitely insufficient. Hence the notes were very useful.
The additional volcabulary notes you provided for our Topik preparation was extremely useful for us to identify what were our learning gaps.
The small class size since foundation class is also very beneficial and provided an opportunity for us to practise our speaking.
Besides lessons with Onlyou, we also practiced sample Topik papers to prepare ourselves. The practice papers helped us to have a better idea what are the various sections in Topik, the duration for listening and reading and how the questions are presented. With these practices, it allowed us to manage our timing better during the Topik itself.
Personally I am weaker in listening and speaking, better in reading. I hope to improve my listening in the next few years. As the twins enjoy kpop, they read the lyrics of the songs to improve on their listening and vocalbulary. I hope to do the same by reading the lyrics to songs and listening to songs at the same time.

I look forward to every week's lesson. Every lesson is not only productive, but the teacher also makes the effort to turn the learning process into something fun-filled and extremely interesting.
Through each lesson, we also learn little bits of the culture and lifestyle in Korea. To add, interesting bite-sized facts about Korea's history and its current affairs are taught during lessons too.

I have been a student of 박한별 선생님 (Ms Park Hanbyul) for over 3.5 years now, and she is an absolutely fantastic teacher. Her classes are kept small, so as to allow her to pay greater attention to each student’s needs.
Her Korean language materials, while modeled after the major Korean universities, are also highly customized by her personally – all to capture the students’ interests by making up to date references to the latest Kpop/Kdrama trends.

Small class sizes and interactive lesson materials make for an amazing learning environment. Classes incorporate everything from text to videos and audio, with speaking being an integral part of the whole learning experience! Korean culture and entertainment (dramas and kpop) are used to help us better synthesize what we learn with our interests. 🙂 Special days on the Korean calendar are celebrated at ONLYOU, such as Pepero Day and Christmas, with cute events planned during class. ^^

As I am much older than most of her students and not as quick with learning a new language, I really appreciate Teacher May’s patience and encouragement and effective teaching.
She is fully bi-lingual and in fact tri-lingual as she understands mandarin too. I am able to remember the hangeul as she points out the similar sounding words from the Chinese character.

I have been studying with Teacher Young for close to 2 years now. She is one of the best teachers I’ve met in general. Not only is she extremely engaging, she is so passionate about what she teaches. She makes extra effort to teach us cute and easy ways to better memorize things, using mnemonic phrases, songs, videos and pictures. She also constantly teaches us about Korean culture, intertwining all these during the fun lesson!
I look forward to class every single week and my Korean skills have skyrocketed since I’ve attended onlyou. Learning online and learning at a school is a COMPLETELY different experience. Having tried both, I really REALLY recommend attending onlyou.

The class, taught by Ms. Park, is enriching and fun at the same time. The class content is well-planned which focuses on listening and speaking. There are plenty of examples, and in-class exercises to help practice what was taught. Materials used in class, such as Korean songs and TV programmes also made the class very interesting. Also, Ms. Park is patient, understanding and friendly while teaching. She is always open to questions and is very willing to help with problems in class hence I feel that the environment of the class is nurturing which helps in picking up the language.
